Software Defined Radio - our activities

The ITU defines Software Defined Radio (SDR) as: “A radio in which the RF parameters including, but not limited to, frequency range, modulation type, or output power can be set or altered by software, and/or the technique by which this is achieved.” (ITU-R WP5A).

Center for Software Defined Radio and its partners including Danish Technology Institute focus on bringing SDR from the research labs to be part of the commercial market, an attempt made via research, close collaboration with industrial partners and professional knowledge sharing. Danish Technological Institute take the lead on professional knowledge sharing about the research activities in CSDR. By continuously following and evaluating Danish Industry preferred access to knowledge and evaluating the readiness of the research activities, the Danish Technological Institute ensures proper knowledge sharing within the technical area Software Defined Radio.
