Please note that this training course (to be held on 11 April) is held in association with the workshop Measurement and Control of Humidity and Moisture in Industry (to be held on 10 April). You have to join the workshop for participation in the training course. The training course is free of charge for participants in the workshop. The number of participants to the training course is limited.

If you wish to participate in this training course please start by register as participant in the workshop Measurement and Control of Humidity and Moisture in Industry.

The course will deepen your knowledge about humidity calibrations and methods to estimate uncertainty in humidity measurements. You will get a comprehensive overview of current practices and most recent developments in this field. You will learn how deal with error sources such as instability and thermal radiation in humidity measurements and calibration. You will also get tips for validating your systems and controlling quality of your calibration.

A European research project HIT is developing new humidity calibration methods of industrial use. The course will get you an insight into the developments: how to advance your calibration through measurements at non-static conditions and how to ensure robust SI traceability at temperatures up to 180 °C.

The course combines lectures and practical training.
