Who is this event for?

Members of the Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership with Businesses. Sign up here (membership is free): https://wkf.ms/47AApFz

The event is targeted at R&D leaders, CTOs, environmental managers and other decision-makers and specialists navigating the PFAS challenge. The Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership for Businesses has been launched to help companies – large and small – phase out PFAS in products, processes and supply chains. Most importantly, we meet you where you are. Many companies feel overwhelmed by the PFAS challenge, but much can be solved collectively – together we can achieve a lot.

The event will be conducted in English.

What is The Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership with Businesses?

The Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership for Businesses (Miljøstyrelsens PFAS-partnerskab for erhvervslivet) is a national initiative that helps Danish companies phase out PFAS and prepare for upcoming requirements in the EU and globally.

The aim is to lower the barriers to phasing out and ensure that companies are not left alone in a complex transition where technical, legal and market requirements are changing rapidly.

Participation in the partnership is free of charge and brings together companies, authorities, experts and industry organisations in a joint forum.

Participants gain access to workshops, experience sharing, practical tools, guides for supplier dialogue and task forces focusing on, for example, functional alternatives, value chain transparency and waste management.

Many companies are currently facing a difficult situation: More and more export markets are requiring PFAS documentation. More and more retailers are saying no to PFAS. Legislation is being tightened, and the EU is working on a total ban. At the same time, companies want to be able to act on this without risking product quality, supplier problems or unnecessary costs.

But what if:
  • You actually don’t know whether your products or processes contain PFAS?
  • PFAS enters through suppliers, components and materials that you do not control yourself?
  • You want to get started, but lack the knowledge, tools and someone to bounce ideas off?

If you recognise just one of these challenges, then The Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership for Businesses is relevant to you. Click the link to become a member and join our PFAS transition network
