Lars Haahr Jepsen

Project Manager, Technological Institute. Since joining Danish Technological Institute in 2016, Lars Haahr Jepsen has played a key role in developing strong partnerships and cross industry collaborations by creating and driving strategic innovation projects. By virtue of his role as Project Director, Lars too has great knowledge of current industry trends and developments within the circular economy, plastics, and textiles.

Technology Director at Danish Technological Institute. With a wealth of knowledge of materials, technology development and tech-transfer across industries, Simon is an unparalleled expert in the field of sustainable technologies. As an example, Simon has headed the development of new technologies to disassemble and recycle wind turbine blades in the CETEC-project, leading to new patents and a publication in the prestigious scientific journal, Nature.

Product Manager, Danish Technological Institute. As Product Manager, Alexander Sandahl leverages his vast technical knowledge in the chemical and biotechnological fields to lead new projects in technology and material innovation. Specialised in biotechnology and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS), his work focuses on new biocatalysts for making complex plastics circular and utilising CO2 as a feedstock for new value chains.

Sr. Technology Director at LEGO. Creation of joy and creativity through materials has been a keystone in the last 36 years of Søren’s career. Søren joined the LEGO Group in 1988, and materials have been the core in all the positions he has held since. Being Sr. Director of Technology, Søren sets direction for R&D, material requirements and related technologies. Søren’s experience and expertise underpin his role in building internal capability and selecting innovative partners.

Global Product R&D Associate Director at DOW. Andrea has been driving polymer innovation since 1998, bringing vast R&D experience to the polyurethane industry. Appointed Global Product R&D Associate Director in 2018, he is leading the DOW’s product innovation and sustainability efforts, including the RENUVA™ program for polyurethane circularity. Just named a TS&D fellow, Andrea is focused on advancing circularity and sustainable technologies within the polyurethane industry.

Plant Director & CEO, ReSource DK. Lars Hedegaard Kristensen was appointed Plant Director and CEO of Resource Denmark in 2023 and has since overseen the development of the company´s innovative large-scale plastic sorting facility. With an extensive background in waste anagement, and nearly 20 years of experience in flexible plastic and packaging, along with a degree in chemical engineering, Lars is dedicated to elevating Denmark’s plastic ecycling capabilities.

Senior Manager Net Zero Accelerator at BASF. Cedric earned his PhD in chemistry specializing in Catalysis before he began his career at BASF’s Polymer Research Center in 2005. Over the years, he has taken on diverse roles spanning product development, strategy, marketing, sales, and business management. For the past three years, Cedric has led projects in Methanol and Carbon Capture Utilization (CCU), driving innovation and sustainability in these critical fields.
