A unique educational partnership between the Danish Technological Institute and Aarhus University combines theory and practice to strengthen your company’s competitiveness

In collaboration with Aarhus University, the Danish Technological Institute offers an exclusive board education program that prepares owner-managers, key employees, and board members to work strategically with digitalization.

The program combines the latest research with practical hands-on workshops and case studies, providing insight into digital technologies such as AI, Cybersecurity, IoT, and Virtual Reality. ​A unique collaboration between two knowledge institutions

This board education program has been created through close collaboration between Aarhus University and the Danish Technological Institute – two of the country’s leading environments within digital transformation and business development.

The program is based on experiences from the acclaimed project "Digital Katalysator," which was carried out in collaboration with 40 Danish SMEs and the Danish Industry Foundation. The project provided valuable insight into how boards can be the driving force behind digital transformation.

The collaboration combines Aarhus University’s strong research-based knowledge with the Danish Technological Institute’s practical experience and expertise in digitalization. This gives you access to the latest research, concrete tools, and practical case studies that help you turn theory into action in your own company.

From Theory to Practice

The board education program is divided into four modules, combining theoretical knowledge with practical workshops, open labs, and case studies:

  • Module 1: The Board’s Role in Digitalization
  • Module 2: AI and Cybersecurity in Business
  • Module 3: Digital Strategy and Business Development
  • Module 4: Digitalization of the Organization and Value Chain

Teaching Format:
Each day combines theoretical teaching with hands-on workshops, open labs, and case studies from Danish SMEs. You will have the opportunity to work with digital technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, Virtual Reality, IoT, and AI in practice, enabling you to turn knowledge into action in your own company.
