Our vision for digital certification of AM parts – Insights from the DILAPRO project

How can we ensure an additively manufactured component meets stringent industry standards without relying on slow, expensive post-process testing?

Post-build testing and qualification remain the biggest cost drivers in metal additive manufacturing – but in the Horizon Europe project DILAPRO, we have been working to change that with in-situ digital certification.

At the final event of the project, we present the outcomes of our research: an integrated software solution combining predictive simulation, real-time sensor monitoring, and automated risk certification for 3D-printed components.
