Styringen af et datacenters opgaver er i dag et højtspecialiseret område, som ofte undervurderes. Kurset giver dig en dybdegående viden om emnet, der bl.a. omfatter kapacitetsplanlægning, seneste grønne initiativer, hvordan man korrekt kommissionerer og de-kommissionerer udstyr, overholdelse af sikkerhedsstandarder og lovmæssige krav. Derudover har kurset fokus på leverandørstyring, håndtering af hændelser/krisestyring, samt hvordan du sikrer en enkel og effektiv operation.

Dette kursus er for dig som er IT-, Facilities- eller DataCenter Operations-professionel, der arbejder i og omkring datacentret (der repræsenterer både slutkunder og/eller serviceudbyder/facilitatorer) og har ansvar for at opnå og forbedre datacentrets høje tilgængelighed og administration. Det vil typisk være i stillinger som: Datacenterledere, Drifts/Gulv/Facility managers, datacenteringeniører, netværks-/systemingeniører/datacenter salg, og konsulenter.

Forudsætninger

Du forventes at have en vis erfaring med det daglige arbejde i et datacenter. Det anbefales, at du har deltaget i kurset CDCP® før du deltager på dette kursus.

Certificering EXIN EPI

  • Spørgsmål: 60 spørgsmål
  • Tid: 1½ time
  • Format: closed book og multiple choice baseret
Du skal have en score på 45/60 for at bestå.
 
Efter beståelse af eksamen modtager du det internationalt godkendte og anderkendte 'Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager' certifikat (CDFOM). Eksamen er inkluderet i prisen.
 
CDFOM certificeringen er internationalt akkrediteret af EXIN.
 
CDFOM certificeringen er gyldig i 3 år, herefter skal de re-certificeres.

He has more than 20 years’ experience working at ISPs, suppliers, Data centres and hard-and-software vendors as a management consultant for a wide range of organizations. Simon is a Certified EPI Instructor for CDCP, CDCS, and CDFOM. He has conducted trainings in Europe, South Africa and Ethiopia for EPI and has always been given a good feedback from the course attendees.
